VP of Sales 

You will be the executive in charge of the sales function at Relola, holding individual and team responsibility for revenue generation, driving growth from market entry/product launch to scale. You will cultivate and grow relationships with enterprise prospects and customers and convert those relationships to closed deals. You will build and lead a world-class sales team.

You and your team’s performance will be measured in terms of revenue, revenue growth, churn rate, forecast accuracy, cost of sales, and discount percentage.

This is a great opportunity to help grow a business from a very early stage, shape its future, and contribute to and participate in its success.

This position is based in our Emeryville, California headquarters, a bright and attractive office between Oakland and Berkeley, just over the bridge from San Francisco, steps away from other cool companies, cafes, restaurants, shopping, a park, and train and bus lines. You will also spend a substantial portion of your time visiting prospects.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Own and close deals for new business, upsells, and renewals
  • Design, build, lead, inspire, coach, and support Relola’s direct and channel sales teams and manage their performance 
  • Define, own, and manage based on relevant metrics
  • Define and continuously improve sales processes
  • Collaborate with Finance to establish territories, quotas, and the sales compensation plan
  • Embrace the value of CRM; promote CRM adoption and use for account, contact, opportunity, and pipeline management 
  • Partner with Finance on forecasting
  • Partner with Customer Success to prepare new accounts for Onboarding and prepare established accounts for renewals
  • Provide feedback to Product team to shape product roadmap based on input from customers and prospects

QUALIFICATIONS:

Required:
    • Excellent English listening, reading, writing, speaking, and presentation skills
    • 5+ years of aggregate experience as head of sales in at least two enterprise B2B SaaS companies, with at least one starting at a very early stage with minimal revenue and scaling under your sales leadership
    • Track record of consistently meeting or exceeding individual and group quota in B2B SaaS sales leadership role
    • Track record of consistently high forecast accuracy
    • Experience negotiating SaaS contracts with enterprise buyers
    • Intermediate to advanced skills with spreadsheets and typical CRM data analysis
    • Intermediate to advanced skills in creating and editing presentations with PowerPoint, Google Slides, Keynote, or equivalent
    • Ability to travel up to 40%
    • Unflagging curiosity and desire to help prospects and customers solve their business problems

Preferred:
    • Familiarity with Salesforce platform
    • Ability to create and edit reports in Salesforce
    • Experience rolling out sales methodology
    • Experience scaling sales enablement in fast-paced, high-growth sales teams
    • Experience participating in deal/discount reviews
    • Experience selling to heads of Marketing, Sales, Operations, Data Analysis

Product Manager (Full-Time) 

Relola is seeking a full-time Product Manager.  He or she will manage web and mobile products in a fast-paced startup environment, collaborating closely with engineering, designers and other departments to build and deploy top-quality products. Candidates must be motivated and thrive on developing and releasing new products and features.

  • Drive product prioritization and own the product roadmap in collaboration with internal stakeholders
  • Create user stories for current and future products based on the market’s problems

RESPONSIBILITIES


  • Translate product feature and business requirements into user flows, wireframes,
